Our plant dyed silk ribbons infuse botanical magic and beauty into each and every design. Each ribbon is 2 yards of 100% Habotai silk. This light-weight, semi-sheer textile with a moderate sheen moves beautifully and comes alive in sunlight. Our small batches are created from nature and each and every silk has slight botanical variations. Living colors have marbling and some have freckles and speckles from the plants. We use silks on every wedding party bouquet, arbors, boutonnieres, flower baskets and in hair. Please fully dry all stems before adding the silk as floral preservatives shift living colors. We suggest using the full 2 yard silk per bouquet.

You can enjoy silks for years to come. If you’d like to wash them, please be aware each color is affected by PH and chemicals. Use a neutral soap and air dry and iron or steam to get them smooth. If you’d like them to fray, you can tumble dry them. For a crinkled look spray with water and air dry. You do not need to wash them before their first use.
